Well, what can you say about the Bad Seed Creature Reacher Costume. Firstly, it is a
perfect costume for Halloween as it is half man/half pumpkin (we can only speculate how this happened but in the
time honored tradition of Schlock horror movies, I'd say some poor fellow, perhaps a farm hand, harvesting the
pumpkin crop got caught up in some secret government nuclear tests. Pumpkin seeds seep into his Dna and turn him
into a deranged monster, hell bent of exacting revenge on the establishment). This is a great shock horror type
costume that will scare and delight people you meet at Halloween in equal measures.

This particular creature reacher costume is based on the traditional Jack O Lantern
that is made from a pumpkin. This tradition is supposed to go back to the 19 th century and exists to this day.
People hollow out a whole pumpkin and place a candle inside the hollowed out shell.
They also carve a face into the skin on the pumpkin. This face can have a jolly aspect to it or it can be
menacing and creepy. Most people prefer menacing and creepy. The Jack O Lantern comes into it's own at night when
the light of the candle gives the face of the the pumpkin and eery glow. What's more, the lantern can be hung up
outside the house to really stand out during the night.
 The Bad Seed Creature Reacher Costume is a fairly simple costume to
wear. It is simply a latex rubber mask that fits over the head and shoulders. The mask is incredibly detailed.
It features a pumpkin that has been cut at the top. There is the stalk at the top of the head. This might seem
like a normal Jack O Lantern but things starts going weird further down the pumpkin.
This pumpkin has deranged lizard like yellow green eyes. The brow of the head is creased together to give it a
squinting, angry look. The mouth is a huge gaping maw with long, pointy sharp rows of teeth on the bottom and top
jaws (reminds me a bit of the monster out of the Aphex Twin Come To Daddy video which really is dusturbing !) The
mouth is completed by a long, curling red tongue that would make Gene Simmons look like a wannabe. Around the
shoulders is a collar of pumpkin leaves.
The outfit that comes with this mask is a sort of torn and tattered burlap sack that a farmer might dress his
scarecrow in. The torn sack is given some shape by a rope in the middle to act as a belt.
The other part of the costume that gives it it's reacher name is the oversized hands or claws (they have sharp
looking nails for added effect), which fit over the wearers hands. They give the wearer extra long hands that can
claw at unsuspecting friends and family (or party guests). These hands are gnarly looking wood with green vines
wrapped tightly around them (no doubt from a wild pumpkin plant).
This is a suitably menacing and fun costume ideal to scare and amaze people during the holiday season.
